the effects of back pain
Not only does back pain effect your back, but it can also effects numerous other parts of your body. Pinched nerves can create pain down your arms and legs, while bulged disks can effect your head and neck. Your back and spine are what connects your whole body together and pain can trigger a train reaction to the rest of your body.
Chronic Back Pain
Most adults experience bouts of back pain at some point in their lives. Chronic back pain is when someone experiences persisted back pain after an injury or surgery where the sources are often hard to determine. Usually that pain continues for 12 weeks or longer.
Can Back Pain Be Prevented?
The best way to prevent reoccuring back pain is to keep your back muscles strong and flexable. Some of the many ways to help prevent back pain are back strengthening and stretching exercises at twice a week, maintaining good posture and lifting objects correctly by bending your knees (not your back).
